Pet show and Pony Pals!

As part of the parish fete we are holding a pet show at 12.30pm with lots of prize-winning classes. All pets are welcome and entry is just £4 which also gives your pets entry to the ‘Best in Show’ category.

Judging will be by Izzy, a vet from Farnham Veterinary Hospital.

If possible, please book ahead by contacting Christine Brown.

Also appearing at the fete will be ‘Pony Pals’ between 11am and 1pm when Caroline will be bringing her trained therapy animals for us to groom and cuddle. She will also be telling some stories. It’s free of charge but donations are welcome.

The Parish Fete

The Parish Fete is back again, this year on Saturday, June 13th, at St George’s, 11am-3pm.

There are lots of stalls – tombolas, the raffle, games, jigsaws, toys, tea and cakes, the barbecue, the bar, craft, community stalls and much more – and a pet show, plus, new for this year, ‘Meet the Minibeasts’, and the ‘Pony Pals’ interactive experience between 11am and 1pm. There will be a maypole, entertainment, music and a children’s area.

Please do come and join us for a great fun day which also raises money for the parish.

Bunting Workshop – the Sequel!

There’s a chance to make more bunting. The session at St George’s on May 9th was so popular that it has been decided to hold a second one, this time at St Mark’s on Saturday, May 23rd at 7pm.

We are making bunting for the church summer fete, which will hopefully be used for many years to come. No equipment needed; however if you do have a sewing machine or fabric scissors then these will come in handy. Please do turn up if you can. Any questions, please contact Christine Brown.
