The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) is a direct-debit scheme that provides a simple and effective way to donate to the parish of choice. It reduces the burden of work on parish volunteers and provides a professional and confidential service to our Donors.
Donations can be made on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. The donation is collected on the first day of the month and passed back to the parish of choice by the 10th of the month.
Even though the donations are made to the PGS, donations are restricted to the parish chosen by the Donor (i.e. Badshot Lea and Hale) and cannot be used anywhere else.
Donors have the option to:
- Remain anonymous, if required;
- Commit to increasing their gift annually in line with inflation. This is entirely at the Donor’s discretion and if you choose this option you are prompted each year, it doesn’t happen without your explicit agreement.
Once the completed form has been received by PGS, the Donor receives an initial letter confirming their details and welcoming them to the scheme.
The quickest way to sign up to this is by clicking here and signing up to the scheme. However, if you prefer you can fill in a paper form. To obtain one of these, please contact the Stewardship Officer Jacquie Munroe, stewardship.officer@badshotleaandhale.org
