We still need a name

Obviously the launch of the plans for the redevelopment of St John’s has been postponed but we still need your help with the name. We have had some suggestions in – some lovely ones – but, given we have postponed the launch we thought that more of you might like the chance to come up with a name.

St John’s will be developed so that it is nor just a place of regular worship but also a community hub and café.

We are holding a competition to choose the name and the winner will have a room in the building named after them.

The new hub and café is being designed to meet some of the needs of groups in the community, including people with learning difficulties, those with dementia, young people wanting a place to go outside school hours, and those with issues affecting their mental health. There will also be a soft play area, office space and flexible areas for groups.

As soon as we are able we will hold the launch of the plans so that you can find out more about it. In the meantime, email your proposed name for the hub and café to Wendy Edwards.
